LOVE & COMPASSION IS A STATE OF BEING. OUR FUTURE IS CREATED 'NOW'.
We create the future by choosing our state of beingness, not just havingness. How? Keep on reading till the end.
We have the choice 'to be', not just 'to have' or 'to own'. What if we chose love & compassion? Ya, these two cant be quantified, or converted into numbers, or a graft and a chart, to index our 'achievements', 'success' and 'progress'.
Yet, these two intangible higher vibrations are the pillars of civilization, global sustainability and well-being. They are the essence of that fancy yardsticks we refer to SDG (Sustainable Development Goals). Love and compassion awaken us, free us, empower us, bring us closer to the true meaning of 'development' (pem'bangun'an).
Yet, love and compassion are often drowned by the low vibrations of our mental & emotional noises (insecurity, greed, hate, contempt, anger, fear, envy, suspicion, etc). These lower vibrations are increasingly becoming abundance, bombarding us on a daily basis as we are hurried to achieve quantified measures of success and development. It is a system that occupies our mind to race, until we forgot to embrace our hearts.
These lower vibrations have also been used by those with capitals and power to control, dominate, manipulate and slave us. Eventually, the vibrations became the roots of a global pandemic of the human hearts, manifested through the increasing rate of mental health problems around the globe.
Love and compassion are not 'a place to go'. In a quantum sense, a place is not anymore just a designation of location i.e the x, y, z or whatever methods of measurement used to index a location.
Love and compassion are a 'state of beingness', not a place. It is metaphorically refered to as 'makam' in the Islamic & Malay cosmology. It is to be 'tuned into', not to 'have' or be 'owned'. A state of beingness is about 'tuning into'. Again, tune into, ok. Not to have, or to own like all the 'things' that we use to race for 'success' and 'development'.
In a quantum sense, all possibilities (quantum wave functions) exist concurrently until the moment of witnessing, or conscious observing. Hidden in every place, site, space, wall, floor, ceiling, are possible and preferable futures. Whichever direction we are looking at, our 'state of beingness' while looking at it is our future. If we chose to be love and compassionate, that will be our future.
We need to choose and visualize our future, now. By choosing & visualizing, we collapse the quantum wave functions to become only what we prefer to 'be', now.
What do we prefer or want 'to be' now?
Angry? Hate? Insecure? Envious? Greedy? Ungrateful? Contemptuous? What?
What if we chose to 'be compassionate'?

are visualizing the #KOSMOSb7 @mgtfusm - an immersive & engaging place for all 'to be' in the healthy state of compassion & awe. The awe comes from discovering our place within the vast Universe, from the microcosmic quantum scale to the cosmic multiverse scale.For us, this is also an installation (it was originally meant to be a storage space). It is a place to get together like a family, bonded and connected by compassion towards each other and towards Nature, to gaze at the beautiful natural surrounding of Bukit Jenaton USM, to listen to the songs of the birds, to gaze at the sky, the horizon, the sun, the moon, the stars, milky ways, constellation, galaxies; to be humbled by these experiences. Plus, it is a place to enjoy an open air gig - lectures, musical concerts, theatre performances, film screenings and many more, in an engaging and meaningful way .
Already we are feeling the joy of discovery and learning as we are working on bringing this vision into our 4D world.
#KOSMOSb7 is a part of 'Re-imagining b7' - the office block of MGTF USM and its vicinity at Bukit Jenaton. This is our second major project after #SPICESUSM - An Interactive Gallery for Medical Sciences USM.
