What
is OASIS?
OASIS stands for ‘Of Art & Science in Society’. Initiated in
2003, it is an exposition of selected research & creative projects by
lecturers from the School of the Arts USM. It is meant to further disseminate
these works to society at large. OASIS is collectively-driven by three core
interests which are the globalisation of local knowledge, transdisciplinarity
and humanising technology for a sustainable future. These collective interests
are embedded within the exhibited works and are open for viewing and critique.
