PROJECT MONYET

We kindly request your creative participation in our upcoming exhibition this🗓️ October called "Project Monyet" a unique project about the primates.

🐒🦥🦧 Project Monyet is a journey to photographically capture and highlight Malaysia's diverse primate fauna. At least 25 species that we currently know of. Malaysia is one of only two countries in Asia, and five countries globally, that are home to members of five primate families. And from those five families spring a whole host of amazing species-Lorises, Tarsiers, Macaques, Leaf Monkeys, Gibbons, Proboscis Monkeys and of course, the Orangutan. The Project Monyet is organized by Universiti Sains Malaysia , Malaysian Primatological Society (MPS), Roots & Shoot Malaysia and Projek Monyet. Projek Monyet as an outreach initiative to bring people closer to our fascinating wildlife heritage and the arts. Muzium & Galeri Tuanku Fauziah is proud to further advocate the project by inviting you, our audience, to be a part of it. You are welcomed to engage in 1️⃣ or 2️⃣ activities in the comfort of your home: 👉🏼The first is a coloring project 👉🏼The second is a 3D project based on primates in the attached posters.
