We were honored to welcome Datuk Lat to MGTF USM. He came to experience firsthand the artworks of Dzulkifli Buyong. He is currently working on a prequel and sequel of Mat Som. One of the scene involves the main character viewing the works of Dzulkifli Buyong. In his usual storyteller style, Datuk Lat shared his stories and funny annecdotes, especially during his time living as a young man in Kampung Baru KL. He also shared his experience at Anak Alam, including with Latiff Mohidin and Dzulkifli Dahlan. He later viewed the project Monyet exhibition. MGTF USM has featured Datuk Lat in several of its previous programs before, all of which with full house aundience. USM has 2 of his drawings which he drew live during one of the programs.
